The Mathew Frank Condominiums built in 2007 are located in the downtown neighborhood of St. Johns. Only six short years after completion, Gores Construction began exterior building rehabilitation to resolve faulty building practices.
Repairs required a complete removal and replacement of the asphalt shingle roof. The lack of proper flashing required the installation of proper flashing at all required locations. The waterproof deck membranes were failing and a new membrane was applied with proper deck framing and flashing. Multiple locations required removing and resetting windows and doors in order to properly flash the rough openings. Siding and trim was removed and replaced. Gores Construction successfully restored the building’s value leaving the project looking brand new.
